Kathleen Mae Schweitzer, 85, passed away on Thursday July 5, 2012 at her home.

Kathleen was born in South Shaftsbury, Vermont. She moved to Brevard County in 1975.

She was retired as a Space Shuttle Technician with the Kennedy Space Center.

She loved Bingo, playing the slots and traveling.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter Kathleen Mae Mickle(Richard) of Port St. John, Florida, Elaine M. Edwards(Leo) of Norfolk, Virginia, Sandra Lee Hughes(Dale) of Port St. John, Florida, and Christi Vergez(Jean Pierre) of Biarritz, France; grandchildren Jeffrey Alden of Middlesex, North Carolina, Timothy Alden of Zebulon, North Carolina, Kathleen Mae Deojay of Jewett City, Connecticut, Robert Hughes of Mims, Florida, Dale Hughes, Jr. of Tampa, Florida, and Tammy S. Adams of Port St. John, Florida; great grandchildren Timothy Scott Alden, Jr., Tammy Marie Alden, Christopher Alden Amanda Gayle Alden, Brittany Deojay, and Brandon Deojay.

Calling hours are 5-8PM Monday July 9, 2012 at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held 10AM Tuesday July 10, 2012 at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Brevard Memorial Park.
