Jim Fazio, age 51, of Melbourne, Florida transitioned from this world on Friday, December 31, 2021, after a battle with cancer. Jim was born April 23, 1970, in Manhattan, NY to Frank P. Fazio and Concetta C. (Floriano) Fazio who predeceased him in 1985 and 2021, respectively.
Jim grew up on Long Island in Brentwood and Bohemia, NY where he attended Connetquot High School in Bohemia until his junior year in 1986 when he moved with his family to Palm Bay, FL. He is a graduate of Palm Bay High School and of Space Coast Massage School in Melbourne where he became a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Florida.
As a multi-disciplinary Neuromuscular and Myofascial Therapist, Jim was the owner of Integrative Bodywork, Inc in Rockledge, FL, where he was in private practice for over 26 years.
Highly skilled in a hands-on therapeutic approach with a true intention to heal others, Jim dedicated his life to the healing arts. Filled with an abundance of love, joy, and passion for his friends and family, one of Jim’s goals was to ensure we felt loved, supported, and understood. We are eternally grateful for this special gift. Jim touched and changed many lives over the years and his legacy lives within those he helped and treated in his practice. Jim led a truly meaningful life.
Jim had many friends and enjoyed a variety of sports. He was an avid fan of the NY Rangers and NY Yankees. During hockey season, he and his fiancée, Darcy would never miss a Rangers game. Jim played on a number of softball leagues over the years, but his true passion was hockey. He loved the game and was a member of the local Liberty Park Roller Hockey League.
Jim is survived by his Beloved, Darcy Forber, his brother Rick Fazio (Deana Cymbalak), and nieces Hannah Fazio and Erin Fazio. Jim will be missed by all those he touched along his journey.
