Jean A Pope

Jean was born on April 29, 1928 in Monroe, Virginia to Otis and Rosa Lee Weekley. She grew up and attended school there in Monroe, where she would later meet the love of her life Ray G. Pope. During their 62 years of marriage - they lived in many places - Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida, where they retired to Titusville in 1988. Jean was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Titusville. She enjoyed sewing, doing ceramics and spending time with her family and friends.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband Ray G. Pope in 2008. She is survived by her children Ray G. (and wife Donna) Pope, Jr, and Keith G. (and wife Donna) Pope; and her grandchildren- Brad (and wife, Tina) Pope, Courtney Pope (James Holmes), Joseph Pope, Justin Dowdy (Maygan Richard), and Tyler Kehn. Jean also has 6 Great Grandchildren - Blake, Ellie, Jade, Hurley, Emilie, and Callie. She will also be missed by her very dear friends Steve and Donna Ward.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 2 - 3pm at First Baptist Church of Titusville - 303 Main Street, Titusville. The funeral service will follow at 3:00pm and then proceed to her entombment at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens on Garden Street in Titusville.
