Grace Elaine Brown died July 23rd 2022 at the age of 90. She died peacefully at home. Survived by her sons Stephen Brown(Linda), Richard Brown and Mike Brown (Christine), Debbie Brown, and she was like a mother to many of her son’s friends. Redetha Ball was her best friend. Grandchildren Douglas Brown (Christina), David Brown (Liz). Great grandchildren Annalyn Brown, Avery Brown, Evan Brown, Dante Ardene, Aidan Morgan, Layla Morgan.
Preceded in death by her father Donald Buttermore, mother Mary Zane Prescott, sister Rosalie (Cissy) Hanner. Brothers Arnold Prescott and Guy (Tootie) Prescott.
Grace (Dolly) worked at a variety of jobs, she retired at the age of 70 after 33 years with Brevard County School Transportation Department. She loved feeding her family and friends for holidays and making special cakes. She loved to travel and saw most of the United States.
Services will be held at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home, 5475 N. US Hwy 1, Cocoa, FL 32927 on Friday July 29th. Family viewing 10:00-11:00AM, friend’s viewing 11:00-12:00, services at noon. Burial at same location and lunch served after. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated in honor of Grace.
