Fredric William DeGel

The son of Henry "Harry" and Pearl (Flandreau) DeGel, Fredric was born in Yonkers, NY, and lived most of his life in the Rhinebeck/Red Hook area of NY. He is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps stationed at Ford Island, Hawaii. He was a butcher by trade and also served as a Constable for the Town of Rhinebeck, NY. He has resided in Brevard County, FL since 1990.

Fred was predeceased by his wife, Katherine (Hargrove), daughter Melissa and two brothers, David and Paul. He is survived by his sister Joan Greco of NY, daughters, Gail (Ralph) Torchia, Joy (Jim) Paschal, Rita (Dennis) Sullivan, Joni (Tom) Crisci all of Tivoli, NY, sons Stephen (Roberta McKinley) DeGel of Butler, PA, Bill (JoAnn) DeGel of Melbourne Beach, FL and Michael (Melissa) DeGel of Orlando, FL, many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and a Great Great Grandchild.

A viewing will be held Thursday, April 14, 2016, 6 to 8 pm, Brevard Memorial Park, 5475 US Highway 1, Cocoa, FL. 32927, Funeral Services will be held Friday April, 15, 2015, 10 am at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home.
