passed away peacefully at home
in Cocoa, FL on Tuesday,
September 13, 2016.
He was born in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania on December 19,1926.
Frank served in WWII as an
Army Paratrooper during the
occupation of Japan.
He graduated from the
University of Miami and
relocated to Brevard County
where he worked in the space
industry, and was a resident
of Brevard for over 59 years.
He was Mechanical Engineer
for Pan Am, Grumman, and other
Aerospace companies. His
favorite job was working on
the Apollo Lunar Module.
Frank is survived by his three
sons: Michael and his wife
Debbie, Joseph Barretta, Albert
and his wife Tina; one daughter
Mary and her husband Scott
Schneider; four grandchildren:
Anthony, Lila, Melissa, and
Daniel; and one great grandson
- Oliver. He was preceded in
death by his father Giuseppe,
his mother Josephine, his brother
Ben, and his loving wife of 62
years Ardys Barretta.
