Elsa B. Ballard, age 92, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012, at Courtenay Springs. She was born in Trenton, NJ, and she came to Brevard County 1968 from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Mrs. Ballard was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Merritt Island where she was very active in the choir and she was also a Sunday School Teacher.
She is survived by her niece, Marcia Davis; niece, Jolan Keks; and long time friend, Shirley Vensel. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Ballard, her 5 siblings and her parents.

Calling Hour will be held Thursday, November 1, 2012, from 10 AM to 11 AM, followed by funeral service at 11 AM, at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home in Cocoa.
