Today we come together to honor and say goodbye to a beautiful, kind, and loving mother, sister, daughter, grandmother and great grandmother. Elizabeth Marie Chandler was born in Killen, Alabama in 1941 to Annie L. Miller and Wylie D. Miller.
Elizabeth passed away peacefully on February 4, 2024 with all her family and loved ones by her side.
Elizabeth grew up in Killen, Alabama with her parents and her brother and sister. She was the oldest of the 3 kids. She enjoyed helping her mom in the garden and helping her dad with everything she could. She loved and adored her family. This is also were she discovered her love of gardening and exploring her love of nature and outdoors. She worked at Disney World in housekeeping and the First Aid Office.
After retiring she enjoyed spending lots of her time with family. She loved the beach and camping, family cookouts, traveling and enjoying her gardens. Family was her heart.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her father Wylie D. Miller, Mother Annie L. Miller, Brother Wylie Miller, sister Linda F Murks, Husband William H. Chandler and Richard L. Truett , daughter Tammy M. Williams and grandson Aaron M. Truett.
She is survived by her children Eddie L.Truett, Regina A. Embry and Donna J. Truett. Elizabeth has 13 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Our love and beautiful memories of her will live in our hearts forever.
Our hearts are broken but we are truly grateful for all the love and comfort and support from everyone.
