Dorothy "Dottie" Carolyn Sauter

March 14, 1954 - May 6, 2024

Dottie Sauter, 70, of Cocoa, Florida passed away at St. Francis Reflections Hospice in Titusville, Florida on May 6, 2024. She was born March 14, 1954, in Adair County, Kentucky. She was predeceased by her parents Randal and Dorothy Roberts. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, John Sauter Jr. who was at her side when she passed.

Dottie spent years as a US Army wife following her husband’s Army career around the country. Many in the community will remember her from the Lazy Bean Coffee Shop in Cocoa and the Merritt Island Mailroom which she owned and worked with her husband John until retiring. She was an active volunteer and devoted countless hours with several organizations in Brevard County including being an award-winning volunteer with the Cocoa Volunteer Citizen Observers.

Her loving heart left a beacon of light and hope for her family, friends, and all in the community.

In remembrance, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Lost Lakes Clubhouse, 140 Lost Lakes Drive, Cocoa, Florida on Sunday, June 9, 2024, 1:00PM.
