Clyde A. Thodey Jr.

CLYDE A. THODEY JR. of Merritt Island passed away peacefully at Cape Canaveral Hospital on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at the age of 82 surrounded by his family. Clyde is survived by his loving wife Judy of 53 years. Brother to Arlene Clark (Ralph). Dear Father to Terrilynn Berry, Tammy Beuer (Todd), and Kimmy Brimm. Beloved grandfather to seven grandchildren. Predeceased by his loving parents Clyde Thodey Sr. and Helen Thodey. Clyde was born in Turtle Creek, PA and moved to Merritt Island, FL in 1969. Clyde was a Communications Specialist in the United States Army. Clyde was the co-owner of the Daytona Beach Pier and the owner of Surf Enterprises Security in Merritt Island, Florida. Friends and family will be received at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home (5475 North US 1, Cocoa, FL 32927) on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 10:00 followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11am. A private interment will take place at Brevard Memorial Funeral Home following the service. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to Orsino Baptist Church located at 4505 North Courtenay Parkway, Merritt Island, FL 32953.
