He was a Titusville born Florida native and was very proud of that. He wished to remain in Titusville his entire life.
Bob originally worked for and retired from Boeing. While with Boeing, he lived in Spain, Australia, and other countries. He participated with the University of Florida on many important projects and remained a dedicated Gator fan. After Boeing, he was self-employed and continued to participate in the space industry, as well as in the energy and agriculture fields, where he was an avid inventor, receiving 48 patents; as well, he was a serial entrepreneur.
Bobby was preceded in death by his brother, Lamar Davis. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 40 years, Betty Davis; five children: Cathy Carr, Robin Lorber, Leslie Davis, Derek Davis, and Marquis Ward; 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Brevard Memorial Park in Cocoa, FL.
