Pastor Manuel Salazar Flores Sr.

Pastor Manuel Salazar Flores Sr. of Avenal was born July 23, 1939 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Eliseo and Tomasa Flores. He went to be with the Lord on May 1, 2015. For 45 years he enjoyed sharing the word of the Lord to the community through his sermons at Iglesia Bautista Del Valle in Avenal, Ca. And several churches throughout the Valley.

He leaves behind loving memories to be cherished by his wife Teresa Flores and their five children Eddie Flores, Manuel Flores Jr, Jerry Flores, Jennifer San Nicolas and Angel Flores, his sister Mary Cordero of Huron and 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

He was the best father anyone could ask for and we thank our Lord Jesus Christ for allowing us to rejoice, and enjoy the time we shared with our dad.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 11, 2015 at Iglesia Bautista Del Valle in Avenal, Ca. followed by a Graveside services at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Coalinga, CA.
