Wanda Jean will truly be missed. She had many friends from Houston and Lake Jackson, whom she loved dearly and enjoyed being with. Her family will miss her smile, her bright blue eyes and knowing that she prayed for each one of them every day.
Wanda Jean was a true prayer warrior and shared her faith with everyone she came in contact with. Her relationship with the Lord was evident in every aspect of her life. She loved her husband Jim and enjoyed all their adventures around the world. Her daughters and many grandchildren were the loves of her life and she loved spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 29 years, Jim Hickey, her son Thomas Lee Smith, and Jim’s son and daughter-in-law, Donny and Jana Sullivan.
She is survived by her daughters Laurie Smith Groth and husband Michael of Angleton, Texas and Dena Smith Ford and husband Will of Sanger, Texas. Laurie’s children Lauren Ford, Jerica Ford, and Bob Ford; Dena’s children Nick Ford and Jennifer Ford Berte, and Donnie’s daughter Rachel Sullivan, along with her 11 great grandchildren, brought such joy to her.
