Virginia “Jinx” Baker Fossel McNutt, of Angleton, Texas was born, Saturday, October 17, 1925 in Arrow Rock, Missouri to Herbert Lee and Minnie Mosett Baker and died Friday, December 28, 2012 in Angleton at the age of 87 years, 2 months and 11 days. Jinx was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She was respected by all she met. She was a homemaker, worked in the Registrar’s Office at Brazosport Community College and owned and operated Fossel Feed & Seed in Brazoria. She grew up in the Methodist Church and has been a member of the First United Methodist Church in Angleton for over 25 years. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul McNutt; brother, Jim Baker; sisters, Emma Brown and Sally Poindexter. She is survived by her daughters, Belinda Fossel Matte of Houston, Texas, Jan Fossel Sanford of The Woodlands, Texas; brother, Buddy Baker and his wife Jo of Lake Jackson, Texas; sisters, Margie English and her husband, Jimmie of Brenham, Texas, Linda Pelham and her husband Bo of Whitehouse, Texas; grandchildren, Charlie Sanford, Ashley Sanford and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Restwood Funeral Home from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 5, 2013 with Reverend Bonnie Cowing officiating.
