Senthia Louise Edgerton, age 71, of Oyster Creek, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025. Senthia was born to Verlena and Marion Mcgarity on July 6, 1953 in Orange,TX. Senthia married James Edgerton in Orange,TX on September 28,1970.
Senthia wasn't in the military but she grew up as an Army brat. Senthia worked for Walmart for 32 years, in the jewelry department. Senthia loved to work with art with her grandchildren and sewing, she went to Oyster creek 1st baptized church, she went to orange high school and graduated in 1980.
Senthia is preceded in death by her parents, Verlena Langford and Marion McGarity; sister, Frances Marie McGarity (Fancy); and brother, David McGarity.
Senthia is survived by her husband James Earl Edgerton, her two sons Christopher (Jean) Edgerton and Matthew (Shannon) Edgerton and her 9 grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are her two sons Matthew and Christopher Edgerton and 4 friends Bobby McAndrew, Kevin Ethridge, Artie Gibson, and Kiethan Gibson.
A Visitation for Senthia will be held Monday, April 7, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Restwood Funeral Home, 1038 W. Plantation Dr, Clute, TX 77531, with a Celebration of Senthia's life starting at 12:00 PM, followed by the Graveside service in Restwood Memorial Park.
