Sally was born November 4, 1933 in Akron, Ohio to Oren (Tim) Morrison & Fanny (Wilson) Morrison. Sally was raised on a small farm near the village of Loyal Oak, and graduated from Norton High School in 1952. Sally then attended Akron Business School and worked for B.F. Goodrich. Sally married the love of her life Orville Kremmer in Belleville, IL on December 31st 1958 and together they spent 56 years as husband and wife. Together they had two children, David and Michael. Sally was a loving wife, mother, grandmother.
Sally was a dedicated volunteer for Beutel School PTA, Lake Jackson & Al Lawrence running clubs, and Brazosport Hospital with the Pink Ladies. She was a proud supporter of her children’s athletic teams including Little League Baseball and Football never missing an event for her children or grandchildren.
Sally was a dedicated fan of Buccaneer Football, the Houston Astros, Houston Oilers, and Texans. She was also a strong support of her husband’s road running endeavors.
Sally celebrated her faith by being a member of Freeport & Lake Jackson Presbyterian Church.
Sally is preceded in death by her parents, Oren & Fannie Morrison, and her siblings Fannie Morrison & Edward Morrison.
Sally is survived by her husband, Orville Kremmer; her son David Charles Kremmer (wife René Jones); her son Michael Kremmer (wife Charolet Black); her grandsons Chad, Cullen and Connor; her granddaughters Britteney Bass, Courteney Bass, Desteney Kremmer, and a great-granddaughter Kyana Bass.
She is also survived by her brother-in-law Richard Kremmer (wife Helen); nephew Richard Kremmer Jr. (wife Cori); niece Karen Middendorf (husband Chris) and their children Brandon, Shane, and Alexis; cousins Norma Jean Weldy, and Delbert Clark; and her best friend – Dana Willis.
Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are Chad Kremmer, Cullen Kremmer, Connor Kremmer, and Mark Guess.
A visitation will be held for friends and family at 6pm on Monday, February 23rd 2015 at Restwood Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, February 24th 2015 at First Presbyterian Church of Lake Jackson with Rev. Dr. Alan Trafford conducting.
Sally will be laid to rest in Akron, Ohio near her parents.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to the Oak village Nursing Home, and the staff of 1st Presbyterian Church.
