Ronnie was born July 6 1963 in Highland Park, Michigan to David & Janet Ostrowski. He was raised in Columbiaville, MI and graduated from Lakeville High School in 1981. He then served in the US Navy. In 1984 he moved to Texas.
In 1994 Ronnie moved to Lake Jackson and Married Cindy Stevens and adopted her children by marriage. They were together until his passing.
Ron lived life to the fullest. He wrestled in High School and in the Navy. He was an avid bowler and motorcycle enthusiast. He loved to ride. He loved sports, especially NASCAR. He was an amazing father and husband, and was a very hard worker. He truly lived his life the way it should have been lived and always put others first, was always willing to lend a hand, or an ear, and he was honest to a fault.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his brother David “Little Dave” Ostrowski, and his mother, Janet Denny.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Cindy Ostrowski; daughters Ashley Matusek (Scott), Elizabeth Camp (Kurtis Williams); sons Jake Heaps (Jessica), Sean Camp, and Tyler Camp (Brittany); granddaughters Serenity Williams, Adelais Carlberg-Camp, Jeanine Heaps; parents David & Sue Ostrowski; brothers Larry Ostrowski (Cathy), George Ostrowski (Debi), Hughie Henderson; sister Kim Baxter; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and his best friend, Michael Savage.
Ronnie’s family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to all of his friends and to the bowling community for their love and support in our time of need. Ron was a great character with a contagious laugh and he will be missed by all.

A memorial service to honor Ronnie’s memory will be held on Saturday May 16th 2015 at 4pm in Restwood Funeral Home.
