Dick was manager of the South Region of LyondellBasell's Client Services. He would office at each site in the south region once a week. He was also my manager during my time at the Lyondell LPO Complex. 

As I recall Dick was always upbeat, happy and he loved the Astros. We kept in touch for a few years after he retired. I only recently was made aware of his passing.  I'm glad he had a full life. 

Have a lot of great memories .he always treated me like a daughter and made me fill like I was his daughter he told a few time he was proud of me and made me hold my head up high .he will be missed but always in my heart

My condolences to the family of Richard Carson. I know a lot of you and I know how much he loved you all..And his beautiful wife,my sister,Jeannie, that kind of love comes once in a lifetime..Richard was a very warm,kind,soul.And I loved him..May he rest in peace..I will miss our games of UNO...

I don't have the words, nor the nouns or verbs to express how much Uncle Richard impacted everyone's life that he came across. His demeanor was impeccable and appreciated from everyone he encountered.  His love for his family was apparent, although sometimes in life a beautiful disaster can be a blessing in disguise,  and now you're home, a part of me still wishes you was here, but you'll forever be in our hearts. To my dear sister, Jean, and  Richard's family:
I am so sorry for all of your loss. Richard and Jean had been together for a very long time and each had accepted each other's family and friends. They were , in fact, much in tune with each other.  Richard did accept her family and  children and was  kind to them.  He was  a very big Astro fan and a really good dancer.  When he and Jean would get onto the dance floor, they   would  put everyone else to shame.   A really great  couple.   I am saddened by  your  loss and am thinking of all of you.  Love you Jean. Thinking of  all of you during this trying time. 

Family gatherings won’t quite be the same without Grandpa Carson running the show. He truly knew how to make our time together fun and memorable. 
You can rest peacefully now. We love you & will miss you Grandpa ❤️
