Oralia Lozano Symonds, 68, of Freeport, Tx, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2024, after many years of battling her health conditions. Oralia was born on October 17, 1956 in General Bravo, Nuevo Leon to the late Rogelio Lozano and Manuela Rodriguez. Oralia was received in Heaven by her mother and father Rogelio and Manuela, and her three brothers, Johnny, Ruben, and Servando Lozano.
Our beloved Oralia, also known by everyone as “Lala”, was known for her strong-willed and vivacious personality. Her 21-year fight against cancer and many other health conditions was a testament to her incredible endurance and spirit, leaving behind a legacy of hope and inspiring all who knew her.
Oralia is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Carlos Eduardo Symonds, her two daughters, Jessica S. Leal (Michael Leal), Crystal E. Symonds and her only son, Carlos E. Symonds Jr. Also left behind are her grandchildren, Jaylene S. Alanis, Emery G. Ramos, Levi W. Ramos, Adrianna R. Leal and Gabriella S. Leal.
A celebration of Oralia’s Life will take place at Dignity Memorial in Clute, Texas. Viewing to the public will be open from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with funeral services beginning promptly at 12:00 pm. Burial will be immediately followed at Restwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Carlos E. Symonds Jr, Michael Leal, Arnie Mata, Rigo Lozano, Johnny Lozano, Enesdel Soto Jr. Honorary Pallbearer: Levi W. Ramos
