Judith Ann Morrow

Judith Ann Morrow passed away at the age of 77 surrounded by her family in her home in Lake Jackson on May 15, 2021. Born August 4, 1943 to B. L. and Alene Sims, Judith grew up in Navasota, Texas where she attended Navasota high school. In 1961, her senior year, she won homecoming queen and was voted best dressed. She moved to the Brazosport area in 1963 with her husband, Bobby, where they both worked for the Brazosport Independent School District and started a family together.

Working in many of BISD’s schools, Judith touched many lives with her positive attitude and loving spirit. However, none were more touched by her love than her two children and her four grandchildren. Upon retiring from BISD after 25 years of dedication, she rededicated herself to her children and grandchildren, while also volunteering at CHI St. Luke’s Hospital and Home Delivered Meals.

Judith was an adored and adoring wife to Bobby for 46 years, who precedes her in death. She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Morrow and Jennifer Rod, and their spouses, Jenny Beth Morrow and Bobby Rod respectively. She was a beloved Gaga to her grandchildren, Matthew Rod, Cody and Alice Morrow, Mason Rod, and Mitchell Rod. She is also survived by Chesney and Ray Sisson, Coy Sims, Kaegan Sims, and Haelie Sisson and by her brother Tom Sims.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, May 20th from 6pm to 8pm and the funeral service will take place Friday, May 21st at 10:30am. Both the visitation and funeral services will be held at Restwood Funeral Home, 1038 W Plantation Dr. Clute, TX.

Pallbearers are Judith’s grandsons Matthew Rod, Mason Rod, Mitchell Rod, and Cody Morrow, as well as Wesley Dupriest, Bobby Rod, Ray Sisson, and Coy Sims.
