Juan Hernandez Jr.

Mico served his county in the Army for 7 years. After his honorable discharge, he became a dedicated pipefitter. In the 25 years of his career, he found lifelong friends along the way. He was a hardcore Cowboys fan, liked fishing, and going to the shooting range. He loved bringing his friends and family together to “light the pit” for his bomb ass BBQ, music, having a few cold ones, and throwing washers. After a long year of fighting pancreatic cancer, he was called home to be free of pain with his parents. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed, but thankfully leaves many great memories for us to cherish forever.

Mico was preceded in death by parents Juan & Bertha Hernandez Sr. Juan is survived by his loving & dedicated wife Patricia/Chicha; children, Gabriella (Trey) Gonzalez and Emilia, stepchildren, Felix (Laura) Rangel III, Tati (Derrian) Cooper, Tasia, Treasure, 8 grandchildren, and Skyler his only niece, along with so many nieces and nephews he inherited; whom he loved tremendously.

Siblings, Sonya, his older sis who he loved dearly; Marty, his bro who he always protected and will always have his back and Nicki, the best sister in law ever.

Visitation will be held at Dignity Restwood Funeral Home, 1038 W Plantation Dr. Clute, on January 11th from 5pm-7pm. Rosary will follow from 7pm-8pm. Last visitation will be at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1713 N Tinsley St. Angleton, on January 12th at 1pm-2pm. Mass to follow officiated by Father Khoi. Burial will immediately follow at Dignity Restwood Funeral Home. A celebration of Mico’s life will be held at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church following the burial.

Pallbearers will be Abel Moreno, Mathew Corona, Gilbert Hernandez, Noe Hernandez, Trey Gonzalez, Felix Rangel III, Damon Smith, and Cody Robinson.
