Gregory Bolton Beall, 56, of Lake Jackson, Texas passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on December 3, 2013. Greg was born on October 22, 1957 in Jacksonville, Texas to Ray Wilton and Hazel Ann Beall.
Greg attended Southern Methodist University where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in business. After graduating he began working for Beall's Department Stores in Austin where he was in the manager trainee program. While in Austin he met and married Jayme Peters on February 14, 1982.
In October of 1989, he began working for Edward Jones in Ocean Springs, MS as a financial advisor, and in December of 1990 he relocated to Lake Jackson. Greg achieved many accomplishments throughout his career and strived to be a trusted advisor for Jones, in return he earned the respect and love of his clients.
Greg loved the outdoors and sports of all kinds. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and enjoyed these activities with his dad, children, friends and brothers. Greg's love for football started at an early age. He loved playing for the Jacksonville Indians where he was an All-State center.
Greg is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Jayme; his parents; children, Austin; Andrew and wife Alissa; Josh and wife Erica; daughter Brittany and husband Justin; 2 grandchildren, Cora and Emery and another on the way; brothers, Jonathan and wife Sharon; Chris and wife Sharon; Tim; sister, Jennifer and husband Dr. Mike Hatchett, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Greg loved his church family at Willow Drive Baptist Church, where he had many close friendships. For all that loved Greg, there will be a visitation at the church, located at 200 Willow Drive from 2-4 PM on Sunday. The funeral will be on Monday at the church at 10AM. A private graveside for the family will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Willow Drive Baptist Church's 2nd floor completion fund.
