Esther Louise (Starks) Evans

Esther Louise Evans passed from this life peacefully in her home on April 17, 2013. Esther was born to J. W. and Agnes Starks on March 16, 1933. Esther met her “forever boyfriend” Carol Evans and they were married on August 21, 1953. In August they would have celebrated 60 years of marriage to one another. She grew up in the Chance Prairie community and attended school in the San Bernard School District. She was a homemaker, sewed and performed alterations. She is preceded in death by her parents, J. W. and Agnes Starks, brothers Borden and Kenneth Allen, sister, Ruth Jones, and her daughter Agnes “Acey” Allen Wiede. She is survived by her husband, Carol Evans, children, Janet (Roger) Frederick, Ronald (Gena) Evans, and Mike Wiede. Grandchildren Mark (Cheri) Evans, Matthew (Ashley) Walker, Brandon (Naomi) Evans and Brian Wiede. Great-grandchildren Emerson and Chantry Evans and Matthew Edge. She is also survived by brothers James (Betty) Starks, Aaron (Blanche) Starks and Samuel (Jean) Starks. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
