David Raymond Rodriguez

David was born to Florentino L. Rodriguez and Margarita Rodriguez (née Zamora) on August 31 in San Antonio, TX. David worked his entire life in the Radiology business, serving from San Antonio and throughout the Houston area.

David attended Holy Cross High School and later received a degree from St. Philips College in San Antonio, TX. Before making his way to the Lake Jackson area. David was an avid sports fan who enjoyed baseball and football from professional teams down to local little leagues. He had a fondness for the beach and enjoyed fishing any chance he could. In his later years, David grew to enjoy history and historical sites. His passion for history gave way to his desire to travel the world. If asked, he was eager to speak about where his next planned trip would take him.

David is preceded in death by his father Florentino L. Rodriguez; his uncle Homer Rodriguez; and his long term partner Petra “Patsy” Rodriguez.

David is survived by his mother, Margarita Zamora; his siblings, Esther, Helen, and Joseph “Joe” Rodriguez; his children, Edward Rodriguez, Christan “Chanel” Washington, and Michael Rodriguez; and his grand-children, Isla and Aria Rodriguez.

A memorial service for David will be held Tuesday, March 14th at 10:30 A.M. at Restwood Funeral Home in Clute, TX.
