Charlene Waller

Charlene Waller, 76 of Lake Jackson, TX went to be with her Lord on Sunday April 24, 2016 in Houston, TX. Charlene was born on November 21, 1939 to Willie and Elvira Knipstein in Corpus Christi, TX. Charlene married Douglas Waller in Corpus Christi, TX on August 24, 1962.

Charlene attended W.B. Ray highschool in Corpus Christi. She enjoyed her family, taking care of her grandchildren as they grew up, she also enjoyed cooking, sewing, and painting in her spare time.

Charlene is preceded in death by her parents Willie and Elvira; brother Bill Knipstein; and sister Vera Bluntzer.

Charlene is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Doug Waller; daughter Lisa Waller (Bobby) Ballard; son Darrell Waller; brother James Knipstein; grandchildren Hunter, Lindsey, and Bailey Ballard; and her beloved Pomeranian “Honey.”

Serving as pallbearers will be Bobby Ballard, Hunter Ballard, Michael Meier, Ben Stuckey, Dylan Shaw, Travis Tyler, Ken Sitton, and Pat Brewer.

Visitation will be held at Restwood Funeral Home Thursday 28, 2016 from 11am to 1 pm.
