Betty Kraus Broaddus

Betty loved her family and saw only the good in others. She was a gentle soul, patient and kind. She will be dearly missed.

Betty was born to Clarence and Virginia Kraus in Middletown, OH on March 4, 1930. Betty married T.R. Broaddus on April 10, 1950 and celebrated fifty years of marriage before his death in 2000.

Betty was alsopreceded in death by her parents, brother Billy and daughter Gail.

Betty is survived by sons and daughter-in-laws Ted and Deborah Broa ddus, Ronnie and Libby Broaddus; brothers and sisters, Kenny (Marylou Kraus), Karen (Eddie) Mowen, Bobby (Norma) Kraus; 7 grandchildren: Vanessa Rigsby, Stephanie Goode, Wendy Maiola, Jake Broaddus, Ted Broaddus, Jr, Eric Broaddus and Kelli Montgomery; 12 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Restwood Funeral Home located at 1038 West Plantation, Clute, TX on Monday evening.

Funeral services will be held at Restwood Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 10:00 am.

Pallbearers will be Jake Broaddus, Ted Broaddus, Jr, Eric Broaddus, Noah Cain, Mark Broaddus, and Billy Ray Harlan.
