Andrew Salinas

Andrew was a great father and a loving friend. He had a great sense of humor and loved to share the gift of laughter with everyone he met. He was a kind and compassionate man who shared his given talents with those who needed him; he loved to spend time working with Cook-offs and benefit dinners, and once won a trophy for having the best beans. He loved to fish, spending time outside in the calm and quiet enjoying nature.

Andrew was a proud father, who loved his son, AJ deeply. He worked hard to provide for him by serving as a Journeyman Electrician. Andrew was a devoted son who took care of his mother as well. He will be missed by all who shared his light.

Andrew is preceded in death by his father, Eloy Salinas Jr.

Andrew is survived by his son, Andrew Jacob Salinas; his mother, Janie P. Salinas; sisters, Sandra A. Salinas & Angela (husband Nelson) Ward; brother, Eloy(wife Michelle) Salinas III; nephews Patrick (wife Sarah) Batts, Mark Ruiz, Justin Salinas, Aaron Salinas, Jordan Salinas & Ben Toombs.

Visitation of Family & Friends will be held on Thursday February 18 2016 at 6pm at Restwood Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday February 19 2016 at 11am at St. Michael’s of Lake Jackson. Andrew will be laid to rest immediately following funeral services at Restwood Memorial Park.
