Randy, On behalf of my sons I am sorry for your loss. Your mom was always so kind to my mom and other members of my family, including me. You have always been a solid man because she taught you perseverance with love. Godspeed Miss Floyd!

How does one pay tribute to the most loving, giving person and best friend anyone could ever hope for? Not an easy task. My dearest and closest friend has now passed on to a much better place to join the angels and her dearly departed ones who passed on before her.

The love and respect I will always have for Sherrie is based on the fact that she honored and gave all that she had to those around her. Her needs always came after all others.

Sherrie's love for her twin boys can never be equaled. She adored these grandchildren above all else.  Whenever we spoke on the phone there were always glowing reports of Ethan and Evan.  She participated in all things meaningful for them and they truly loved her for that.
Over the years Sherrie shared not only her pride for Ethan and Evan but she sent me already framed photos of them wanting the world to see what grand people they were turning out to be.

We became immediate friends when I provided speech and language improvement for Sherrie's girls. Up until the time she became very ill Sherrie and I spoke on the phone at least 5 to 6 times a week. Our friendship endured for almost 25 years even though I had a few moves from CA to Oregon, back to CA and finally to Colorado where I reside now. We never lost touch because my mother and Sherrie had stayed in touch via letters. And, Sherrie found me no matter where I was.

The bond we had was sacred.  I think we shared more about ourselves that no others knew. True confidants were we! My heart is so very sad that Sherrie's friendship is somewhere else right now.  However I will be eternally grateful for the love and kinship we felt for one another and will cherish it forever.  Sleep well sweet angel your pain and suffering is gone!

Sherri was my cousin, one of my dearest friends.  She always knew just what to say to cheer me up. We could talk on the phone for hours, our conversation could be about the most important things in our lives or a conversation about nothing at all, it didn't matter because we just enjoyed talking to each other.  She had had some ruff points in her life but she always managed to fight back and be a better person for it. One thing i know for sure is that she loved her family more than life itself. Her son Randy his wife Lettie and the twins Ethan and Evan were such a joy to her. Sherrie  always said how proud she was of Randy and Lettie for being wonderful parents to the boys. She knew they were in great hands and they would well taken care of.  I will miss you Sherrie and forever hold you in my heart.
