Ruby lived her life as a devout Catholic and had a deep faith and trust in her relationship with God throughout her life. She always shared her kind and thoughtful prayers with others.
Ruby enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved animals, watering her plants, and listening to country music on the radio. She truly loved being a mother and grandmother. Her greatest blessings were her four sons and her grandchildren. Ruby called her sons everyday to see how they were doing and always made sure to tell them that she loved them before she hung up the phone.
Ruby’s loving heart and kind spirit will be missed by many.
Ruby is survived by her son Bryan, her son Matthew, daughter in law Lori, her son Eric, daughter in law Karen, her grandchildren Paige, Jake, and Chloe, and her sister Dorothy.
She was preceded in death by her parents Elsie and Fritz Strmiska, and her son Larry Peterson.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Ruby will be held Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 929 Harvard Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
