He attended California State University, Fresno and received a Bachelor's degree in Geomatics Engineering. Peter was a member CSUF Lambda Sigma, the National Land Surveying Honor Society, founded at Purdue University. He and his classmates also won the National Society of Professional Surveyors 12th annual student competition.
Peter currently worked for Dixon & Associates, Inc. as a project manager. He also has his California Professional Land Surveyor license from the California Board of Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists. Peter was a member of the San Joaquin Valley Chapter of California Land Surveyors Association. He served as the chapter secretary in 2018 and chapter president from 2019-2022 and was currently service as the chapter treasurer.
Peter lived life fully. He successfully tried his hand at brewing his own beer and was a meat smoking aficionado. Great times were had when he hosted gatherings for family and friends. Peter took great pleasure in traveling and trying new foods. He was an avid bicycle enthusiast and completed his first century ride in 2021 and was training for his second. Peter took pleasure in golfing, shooting his guns, riding his motorcycle. He liked to try his hand at a lot of different hobbies. His pride and joy and by far his greatest accomplishment was his 1970 Camaro which he completely customized and upgraded himself.
Peter did not know a stranger, he could talk to anyone and when he focused on you he made you feel like the only person in the room, by being relatable and asking questions showing that he truly cared what you were talking about. He wasn't afraid to tell you his opinion and would also listen to yours.
Peter is survived by his loving wife of four years, Lisa Binz; his mother Judith Frampton-Binz; his sisters Mary Cox (Connor), Loretta Holloway (Chuck), and Chamaine Silva (Dave), his brother Eric Frampton and his former sister-in-law Lisa Beth Frampton; nephew Alex Frampton, niece Sarah Hawkins (Anthony), nephew Bradley Holloway (Liz), niece Breanah Frampton (Braden Frankfort), nephew Tyler Holloway, nephew Dexter Frampton and nephew Andrew Silva, niece Layla Cox and nephews Levi Cox and Graham Cox . Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, great nieces and one great nephew.
Peter was preceded in death by his father Pete Binz, his oma Mary Binz, opa Peter Binz and his brother Gregory Frampton.
A funeral mass for Peter will be held Friday, June 16, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul Newman Center, 1572 E Barstow Ave., Fresno, CA followed by the committal service at Fresno Memorial Gardens, 175 South Cornelia Ave, Fresno, CA.
Serving as pallbearers are Eric Frampton, Alex Frampton, Jeremy Guyette, David Schwarz, Connor Cox, Beau Immel, Aaron Spray, Bradley Holloway, Dexter Frampton and Adrian Aguirre.
