Oscar Edgar Nichols passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. He was born in Oklahoma in January of 1932 and was the second child of a blended family. He served in the Army and after being discharged he met and married Betty. After Betty's passing in 2009, Oscar married Joyce and they moved to Canyon Lake in 2017, where Oscar lived until his passing. Oscar is survived by his wife, Joyce, 1 brother, 4 children and their spouses, 9 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren. All the grandchildren and great grandchildren learned the phrase, "MY PAPA LOVES ME" from a very early age and he would say it to them every time he saw them till his passing. He was well loved by his friends and his family and will be remembered and missed by many.
A Celebration of Life for Oscar will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Canyon Lake Community Church, 30515 Railroad Canyon Road, Canyon Lake, California 92587.
A Graveside Service for Oscar will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Clovis Cemetery, 305 North Villa Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
A Memorial Service will occur Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Southern Baptist Church, 4890 East Holland Avenue, Fresno, California 93726.
