Luis Figueroa Morales, of Rancho Las Cañas, Municipio de Valle De Santiago, Guanajuato, passed away peacefully on 09/27/2024 at the age of 87. Born on 08/25/1937.
Luis was known for being a respectful person and he liked to have his front and backyard clean. He did not like having people wait for him as he would be ready with plenty of time before everyone else, especially when he was going to work. Although he was a person of not many words, his actions and kindness spoke a lot of him. He touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Luis Figueroa's life was characterized by being a caring and loving person to his family, he loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed riding his bicycle and he will be remembered for his kindness towards everyone.
A person that worked hard all his life. Luis started working as a child and later as a young adult, he delivered sodas and water to small towns in Guanajuato, followed by painting houses, Churches, etc. In the United States, Luis worked in the fields, packing houses, and finally at Pelco in Clovis, Ca., where he spent over 10 years in the Paint Department.
Luis is survived by his Wife: Margarita Figueroa, Daughters: Maria, Gloria, and Angela. Sons: Jose Luis, Roberto, David, and Santiago. Sons-in-law Agustin, Larry, and Luke. Grandchildren: Agustin, Carolina, Vicky & husband Alex, Alejandro & wife Daisy, Naylea, Camden, and Samantha. Great-Grandchildren: Aiden, Natalee, Ricky, JJ, and Lalo.
A Celebration of Life for Luis will be held Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Boice Funeral Home, 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
Immediately following the Celebration of Life will be a Committal Service at Clovis Cemetery, 305 North Villa Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any Catholic Church, in honor of Luis Figueroa's memory.
