Evelyn Louise Weiss

Evelyn L Weiss left this life for the eternal one on Saturday, January 21, 2017, quietly leaving her family and friends behind. She will be greatly missed. Evelyn was born the eldest of three girls on November 13, 1928, to Burt and Doris Granger.

She married Frank Emil Osback Jr., on December 6, 1952, and they resided in Clovis, CA, where they raised four children. She married Gordon D. Weiss on March 25,1989. She was an amazing wife, mom, grandmother,great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Burt and Doris Granger; her sisters, Lois Tyce, and Charlotte Hoffman; both her husbands, Frank Emil Osback Jr., and Gordon D. Weiss; and her great-great grandson, Jason Rose.

She is survived by her children, Terry "Butch" Osback, John Osback and his wife Lenora, Doris "Dorrie" Osback-Rose and her husband William "Bill", Stevin Osback and his partner Seng Vang; her grandchildren, Frank Rose and his wife Carol, Carol Hegg and her husband Guy, Danielle Young and her husband Jeremy; Nickolaus Osback and his wife Gina, Chelsee Osback and her boyfriend Aaron, Lyn, Kim and Donna Soonthornbhesaj. She is also survived by 11 greatgrandchilden; and four great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Boice Funeral Home on Friday, February 3, 2017, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.

A Graveside Service will be held at Clovis Cemetery on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at Memorial United Methodist Church, 1726 Pollasky, Clovis, CA, at 2:30 p.m.

Remembrances may be made to Memorial United Methodist Church, per mom for child care or the Pantry, 1726 Pollasky Ave., Clovis, CA 93612.
