His family owned and operated Pyramid Box Company, which later relocated to Selma. Aram flourished as a prominent businessman with the Pyramid Box Company, Pyramid Packing and the Selma Flea Market.
He served in the 164th Antiaircraft Artillery Gun Battalion during WWII in the Philippines where he received the Philippine Liber- ation Ribbon, and medals for Good Conduct, Asiatic Pacific Campaign and the World War II Victory.
Aram was truly a man who lived to enjoy life, spend time with his family, friends, golfing, watching movies, doing jumble word puzzles, playing backgammon, going to the symphony and his most favored activity had to be eating.
Aram is survived by Bonnie Dzerigian, his wife of 32 years; his son, John Dzerigian; his daughters Cookie Oien and Hannah Vick; grandchildren, Matthew Oien, Kyle Oien, and Aaden Vick; his brother, Vartan Dzerigian and his wife Lucille; his sister, Dorothy Dardarian; his nephew Steve; and his nieces, Karin, Chris and Adele.
There will be a viewing at Boice Funeral Home on Sunday, May 20, 2012, from 12:00 until 5:00 p.m.
There will be a private family burial held at Mt. Ararat Cemetery,
A Memorial Luncheon will be held for family and friends at AJ's Armenian Restuarant 5048 N. Maroa Avenue, Fresno, Ca. 93704 on Monday, May 21, 2012, at 2:00 p.m.
