Angie Gonzales, age 88, of Clovis, California entered into rest on Thursday, December 10, 2020. Angie was born May 10, 1932 in Gadsen, Arizona. Angie was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Angelo "Andy" Gonzales. They are now at peace and resting together at the hand of our Lord.
Angie is survived by her four children Angelo (Cathy) Gonzales, Jr., Abe (Sherrie) Gonzales, Arlene (Bruce) Mayhew and Annette (Thomas) Reed. A devoted grandmother and “Nana”, she adored spending time with her 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Angie lived a full life always wanting to keep her hands busy. She had her own in-home beauty salon for 20 years, volunteered at Clovis museum and worked at the Clovis antique mall which started her passion of collecting dolls. She was active in multiple doll clubs and traveled to many conventions in which she appraised and judged other dolls. An avid reader of newspapers & books, her passions were sewing, embroidery and gardening, as well as going to the casino and traveling. While at Nazareth House, she made many new friends, enjoyed bingo and attended most daily activities.
Visitation will be from 1 to 4pm on January 4, 2021 at Boice Funeral Home in Clovis (3rd & Pollasky).
Mass will be held at 10am on January 5, 2021 outside on the grass field of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic school located north of the church at 8th & DeWitt in Clovis.
Burial will follow at Clovis Cemetery to be attended by immediate family only.
