Vito Peter Aleccia led a rich and fulfilling life surrounded by loved ones and pursued his passions with dedication. He touched many lives with his warmth, passion, and unwavering love for his family & friends.
His love for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and animals, particularly dogs, painted a picture of someone deeply connected to nature. His long-standing interest in taxidermy also showcased his creative side and commitment to his craft.
Above all, his devotion to his family shines through. Despite facing challenges, he remained resilient and loving, leaving behind cherished memories for his family to hold onto. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren clearly adored him, reflecting the profound impact he had on their lives.
Vito's legacy as a loving husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort and solace to his family and friends during this difficult time. As they know he will be accepted by his heavenly father and reunited with his loved ones.
Vito was the loving husband of the late Ruth Jean Aleccia. He was the beloved father of Joann Aleccia (Shance Carlisle), Peter (Lisa), Rosalia O'Brien (Jeffrey), the late Elizabeth Masters, and son-in-law Donald Masters (Rhonda). The cherished grandfather of Aimee Masters, Natalie Kempter (Aaron), Garik Goldwater, Matthew O’Brien, Alexis Aleccia and great grandfather of Raven Masters and Jasmine Masters. He was the caring brother of Thomas Aleccia (Ruth Dennis) and Peter Aleccia. Vito is also survived by his dear companion, Chris Seuschek. He was preceded in death by his parents Rosalia and Peter Aleccia and his Stepmother, Anita.
Visitation for Vito will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road in Clinton Township.
