I am sad to hear that Mr. Trawick has passed away. He was absolutely the coolest of the cool. I was a student at KMS in the 70s and years later had the great fortune to work with Mr. Trawick at HHS during my early teaching years in the 90s. Mr. Trawick commanded respect by being firm, honest, straight up and old school. EVERYBODY loved this man! Throughout his lengthy, illustrious career he influenced so many of us Hamtramck kids with his wisdom and big heart. Mr. Trawick left a legendary, indelible mark throughout Hamtramck Public Schools. Godspeed, Sir.

A very nice, kind & warm hearted young man.  I worked with Mr. Trawick for several years,, even though we worked in two different bldgs,  I will always remember that soft spoken voice.

I will miss him & I will continue to keep his family in my Prayers!

Approximately 60 years ago our paths crossed with ball games and church activities. The Trawick family was a large and fun sharing family. Many good times around their home.

I’ll always remember Mr. Trawick coming to pick up Kayleigh from Childtime so she could go to gymnastics. Both of their faces would light up when they saw each other. There was a beautiful bond between the two of them. Tom was a nice person who impacted many lives. 
May he Rest In Peace in the Everlasting Arms of Jesus.

Mr Trawick was my teacher. Boss and friend. The best principal kms has ever had!

Keeping Toms family in my thoughts and prayers. Tom was a wonderful administrator, friend and golfer. Even though I haven't seen him for years I will always have the memories of him at Kosziousko Middle School and the time.on the golf course. 

I met Tom when I was 15 years old.  Even with an age difference, we became great friends.  He treated me like a younger brother.  We became life long friends.  He truly impacted my life in a positive way.  He will be missed by many!

I am so sorry for your loss of your father and grandfather. He was my Soical Studies teacher  in 7th grade at Kosciusko. He was a wonderful teacher.. I know he will be missed..

Sending my prayers and condolences to your family on the passing of Mr. Trawick.   He was an incredible educator who helped shape me as a teen.  I admired and respected him greatly.   May all your wonderful memories help ease your sadness during this difficult time.  

What an amazing man!! Kind and caring to say the least. Before Uncle Tom had the 3 loves of his life (Dwayne, Jennifer and Jessica) he spoiled the heck out of Roger and I.  So I know why the three of them love their father so much.  Every weekend was different movie. Candy and popcorn and anything else we wanted. We couldn't wait for that call, "you guys wanna go see a movie?" He was a spoiler...in a good way. He loved his family and made it clear who and what was important to him.  He is truly loved and will be remembered always through the stories we all share.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Trawicks passing. He was a school teacher of ours at Kosciusko elementary school. He was a wonderful teacher and a wonderful man. My heat goes out to the Family, Friends and Students that he influenced in school. God bless you all.

Tom was my only brother and will be missed dearly. We will always have our memories of him in our hearts and minds. My brother has joined his mother, father and sister who he loved very much.

In lieu of flowers we are making a donation to the Alzheimer's Association in Tom's name.

Mr. Trawick was always up at Skate World to watch Kayleigh in the races.  He will me missed.
