Susan C. Rush, age 70, of Chesterfield Township, passed away on January 15, 2020. She is the beloved wife of Charles; Loving mother of Beth Miro (Steve), Cari Desjardins (Joe), Danielle Guitar (Daniel), Matthew Rush (Paweena) and Charlotte Rush; Cherished grandmother of Aaron, Summer, Joshua, Collin, Courtney, Savannah and Alex; Dear sister of Harry Tazzia (Sue), Jamie McCauley (Ken), Judy Peters, Joyce Hrynkiw (Bill) and Cathy Jasper (Bill).
Susan was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 6, 1949 to Najib and Anna Tazzia. Spending all of her young life growing up in Roseville, Susan met her husband of 48 years, Chuck, and they were married on June 11, 1971. Together they started their family and settled in Saint Clair Shores. Susan dedicated her life to taking care of her family, and had deep love for her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a very generous person. Susan loved spending time with her family, making them laugh and seeing them smile. Her comical personality and sense of humor will be deeply missed.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 from 2-9 PM with a funeral service at 7 PM, at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, Michigan, 48038. A chapel service will follow on Saturday morning at 11 AM at Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Road, Clinton Township, Michigan, 48038. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Susan's honor to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
