Susan Marie Asaro, age 66, of St. Clair Shores MI, unexpectedly passed away on July 8th, 2024. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, July 13th 2024 from 1:00 to 5:00pm with a Memory Share at 3:30pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035.
Sue was born in Detroit, MI to Russell and Era Mae Rieli on July 20th, 1957 as the middle child in a house full of 5 sisters. She attended and graduated from Carl Brablec High School. Sue’s real journey began in 7th grade where she met the love of her life James (Jim) Asaro. Together they built a marriage that lasted 45 years, surrounded by the love of the family she cherished. Sue enjoyed camping, flowers, shopping, antiquing, and spending time with her lifelong friends, but most of all loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Sue is survived by her devoted husband Jim; two loving sons, James (Sammantha) Asaro, and Michael (Amanda) Asaro; cherished grandchildren James (JJ) Asaro, Anthony Asaro and Noelle Asaro; sisters Carol (Kenny) Rhoades, Judy (Jack) Richards, Jan (Steve) Yamin and Patty Willard; many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Russel and Ira Mae Rieli.
