Stephen Robert Barber passed away on August 3, 2020 at the age of 56. He was the loving husband of Joann and the cherished stepfather of Russell Vergote, Amanda Vergote, Shantel & Tyler Czarnecki (Grandad of Leona). He was the loving son of Vilma and the late Ernest Barber. He was the dear brother of Tracy (the late William) Olinger and Jason (Staci) Barber. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Trevor (Kat), Spencer (Amy), Tyler, Ethan, and Emily, and many great nieces and nephews.
Stephen loved traveling, including trips to Mexico and the Caribbean to scuba dive. He also enjoyed boating, dancing and animals. Stephen will be remembered by his friends and family as the “life of the party”.
Visitation for Stephen will take place on Friday, August 7, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road in Clinton Township. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 10:30 am (arrival by 10:15) at Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Road in Clinton Township.
