This is late, I have always enjoyed  working and having a good talk, laugh and beer with Stan. We were roomates and I have always considered him as a second dad. I love his family and always enjoyed a good meal with all of you! I am saddened and knew  earlier,  but love you all. Peace be with you and your families. Your dad will always be with me!

Love and miss you dear brother Stas'.  I will always remember you and the good times we shared when I was a young child: ice cream parlor, drive in movies, fishing, going to your friends and playing with the kids my age. Then later,you left for the US Army when I was 6 yrs old.  Then, we kept in contact with letters from Viet Nam. You will always be my hero and honored Veteran. The BBQ's at your house, Thanksgiving and more.  Good memories. I'm glad I was able to tell you and you telling me that we love each other the day mom died on Easter Sunday (April 24, 2011). You'll always be in my thoughts when I am alone, and you will be remembered dearly, when I speak of you to others. You had a great big heart, and shared what you had unconditionally.

                                                 Our Dad

When we were little Dad seemed like the strongest man in the world. You were a Vietnam vet, a hard worker; you always put clothes on our backs, and shoes on our feet. Barbeques were never missing, even back then. Pool parties, card games, weekends at Sutter's, and that yearly trip to Boblo Island,"no hands" sound familiar to anyone? These were the things I remember Dad enjoying as a family. These were the things Dad always had fun doing and always looked forward to. Dad loved his brother Steve his sister in law Kelly, his sister Julie, his nieces and his nephew, but I feel he regretted not spending as much time with them as he would have liked to. I supposed Dad bottom line was a kid at heart. He missed a part of our lives and then realized his kids were all grownup. He loved each and every one of us differently in his own unique way, but no one more or less just differently. All Dad wanted was to hear our voice, feel our hug, or see our smile. Knowing he was loved, I believe that's what made Dad truly happy. Then Dad was given a second chance his grandchildren. He again saw a special side in each and every one of them. He was so proud of them and never afraid to brag about how many of them he had. They loved going to his house knowing what we knew as kids, a great meal was on its way, sometimes more well done than we liked but all the same we were together. He loved his son in laws but never let them forget "take care of my daughter" and they all have. Last but definitely not least he never fell out of love with Mom. Even though they were not together they were never really apart and always there for each other when they needed to be. This family has had a lot of ups and downs but what we have always had is each other and the love of Mom and Dad. We need to always remember that we all came from the love of two special people that made us all a part of this wonderful family. Let's never forget that, or Dad, we love you forever.

Grandpa i really miss you and wish you were still here. I will really miss coming to your house almost every holiday for your barbques. Please forgive me for not calling you very often. that will be the hardest thing for me to forget i wish i could call you and hear the sound of your voice again.

Daddy, not a day goes by that I don't think of you. I regret not taking advantage of the time you had here. I miss you so much. I will never forget the day mom and I found you, I am so sorry I wish I could have done something different so you would still be here with us. Please forgive me.

I have worked with stan at the gatehouse for at least a year. the memories that i have of stan, at the gatehouse, he would always feed the cats, even when he was told not to.  he was always professional, and kind to others.  stan and i have gone out to the bars and dinner, and we always had a great time. stan was funny and very intelligent.  stan always called me the godfather and big red, and i will miss him very much. rest in peace pizon!!! your friend William Compagnari

I worked with Stan at Dodge Truck for several years. We were skinny young guys in our 20's when we met. He was very well liked by all, including me. I last saw Stan when he was working security at SHAP, just before I retired in June 2005. We wished each other well at our last meeting.
