Salvatore A. “Sam” DiCaro, age 84, passed away on June 4, 2020; beloved husband to the late Mary Rose for 62 years; loving father to Sal (Mary), Lisa (Jerry) Juillet, Chris, and Jeff (Jackie); proud papa of Jerry, Sammy (Morgan), Cara (Ben), Nicole (Tyler), Dominic, and Christopher; Sam is also survived by his dear sister-in-law Nina DiCaro; he is preceded in death by his brother John.
Sam was a 58 year resident of Roseville, where along with his wife of 62 years Mary Rose, raised their 4 children. Sam was the owner of Manor Barber Shop in Madison Heights for many years. He also worked plant protection for the Chrysler Corp. Sam was a huge supporter of all the Detroit sports teams. He coached for many years at Roseville Jr. Sports and the Roseville Rec. Leagues. His many teams included the Eagles, Giants and the Bucs. His home, always full of laughter and music was a gathering place for family, friends and neighbors. Sam was a kind and humble man who never spoke an unkind word about anyone. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
The family will greet friends for a funeral service on Friday, June 12th at St. Isidore, 18201 23 Mile Road, instate 11:30am until the time of mass at 12:00 noon.
