Thank you all who have shared a memory of my dad. Each one brought a smile to my face and a tear to my eyes.

I am grateful for all the happy memories I have with him. One I’ll share here is how much my dad loved taking his kids to work with him. As a kid, I remember him being so proud introducing me to everyone at the Detroit Produce Terminal and the restaurants we delivered to. That didn’t change as I grew older. Throughout high school I would work the busy days with him when school was out for summer. Waking up at 2am is no easy feat for a teenager and usually around mid-morning I was falling asleep in the cab of the truck. He was always looking for a good laugh and more than once jerked the steering wheel causing me to fall off the seat.  Another time he purposely drove past a sprinkler shooting into the street so the water would squirt me in the face and wake me up! In 2015, after 18 years of having not been on the truck, I went to work with him. It was impossible for my dad to hide his excitement that day.

I share my father’s name with honor, but I will never be able to fill his big shoes or the hole he is leaving in all our hearts. He will forever be missed and remembered.

Mr. Sam put the S in Style and is truly one of a kind! He would always have a comical story to share of a recent experience of his (typically from the market). I was lucky enough to have been able to help him with his route a few times and these are certainly memories that I will never forget. My thoughts  and prayers are with his family. Rest In Peace Mr. Sam

I remember meeting Sam for the first tine when I was dating his brother  Ray my late husband.  His big smile and outgoing personality won me over on the spot. That smile won him a long marriage to the love of his life Cheryl,  Loving children and grandchildren.   He also had a very successful business. Ray used to say how excited the guys at "his coffee shop" would be when Sam came to see Ray for coffee.  They like him better than me. I would always laugh.  Sam called me shortly after Ray died saying how much he missed coffee with his brother. We both cried. I don't know if they have coffee in heaven, but if they do Mom, Dad, Fran and Ray  are having coffee with Sam.

As a friend of the family Sam was always a very nice person to me and always smiling.   Enjoyed talking with him about cars as we would run into each other at different car shows and cruises.   Thoughts and prayers going out to the entire Buccellato family at this most difficult time.  God Bless.

Always enjoyed our talks.  The kids, your dog, cars and car shows. You will be missed. My prayers for the family.

Sam, we will always remember you as our kind, gentle neighbor. Our  friendship began 20 years ago with a smile, a wave and a handshake. You will be missed but not forgotten.
