Ruth Ann Ellis (Pennington), age 43, passed away on December 7, 2019 at 6:40pm. Born to the late Sandra Kotcher (Pratton) and Joe Bob Pennington in Detroit on July 21, 1976; beloved wife to Anthony; loving mother to Tiffany Whisnant-Diggs (Christopher); dear sister to Linda (Will) Estep; Willard Pennington; J.R. Pennington, Jennifer (Drew) VanDeWalle, and Carlos (Mary) Pennington; she is also survived by her honorary mother Juanita Allen; many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ruth was a graduate of Anthony’s Beauty School. She worked all her life as a cosmetologist. She was a member of the Belvidere Boat Club. She had a passion for boating, traveling, and caring for her four-legged friend, Frankie. Ruth had a sincere heart for others. She will be greatly missed by all those who loved her positive and infectious laughter.
The family will greet friends at Kaul Funeral Home of Clinton Township on Saturday, February 8th from 1:00pm until 7:00pm, with a memory share at 6:00pm.
