Richard J. Olejniczak, age 90, passed away February 27, 2013. He was born May 24, 1922. He was a WWII Army veteran and worked as an engineer for Uniroyal. Family members said he enjoyed bowling. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Vita C.; children Richard J. Jr., (Mary Rose), and Dennis; grandchildren Russell, Ryan (Danielle), Michael and Rita. Visitation Saturday 5-8:00PM, Sunday 2-8:00PM, with a rosary at 7:00PM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038 and Monday instate 9:30am until time of mass 10:00am at St. Barnabas Catholic Church 24800 Phlox, Eastpointe, MI 48021. Entombment will be at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery.
