Richard Henson

Richard served in the US Army and his time enlisted was marked by a profound dedication to his country. He was stationed in Kuwait during his service. Richard was a loyal employee who dedicated 30 years of service to Mini Mix. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. Richard became a father figure to many that enter his life without hesitation. He enjoyed the simple things in life i.e. classic TV shows, bowling, and following the local baseball and football teams. Richard loved his family more than anything and will be greatly missed.

Richard is survived by his sons, Christian (Emily Westrick) Henson, Jamison (Shelby Bradford) Henson; his father, James (Margaret) Henson; his sisters, Deborah (Chris) Stein, Denise (John) Macey-Drawe, Tracey (Mike) Megill, Kimberly (Ben) Nunes, Jennifer (David) Saunders, LeeAnne (Jason) Daly; his best friend and Uncle Chuck Rummler; the mother of his children, Desiree Nicholson. He was the proud Uncle to 22 nieces and nephews who meant the world to him- he loved nothing more than being the "fun Uncle". He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Karen Henson; stepbrother, JR Latondras; and nephew, Bow Conner.

A visitation for Richard will be held Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Funeral Service and Military Honors at 6:00 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Richard's memory may be made to the family.
