Ralph served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was very active in the Honor Guard for Vietnam Veterans Chapter 154. Ralph enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his friends through Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. Ralph also enjoyed watching the cars race at the Motor City Speedway. He was an award winning Ballroom dancer and bowled on several leagues. Ralph even had a collection of first place medals for Senior Olympics in Wii bowling.
Ralph is survived by his siblings, Edward Kolb of Mia Loma, CA and Linda Lee of Clinton Township, MI; his nephews and niece, Edward (Jennifer) Kolb of Riverside, CA, Tammy (Kenneth) Genzer of Alta Loma, CA, Robert (Christina) Kolb of Upland, CA, Daniel (Sarah) Kolb of Apple Valley, CA, Donald Gunter of Richmond; his great-nieces and great-nephews; and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Olga Kolb; an infant brother David; and a niece Linda Gunter.
A visitation for Ralph will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 1:00 pm until a 3:00 pm Funeral Service with Military Honors at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. Burial will be at White Chapel Memorial Park, Troy, MI.
