She was born on November 28, 1933, in Detroit, a daughter of the late Alphonse and Sylvia Dicaire. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Ralph Labadie; Dear mother to Michael (Paula), Therese (Joseph) Kummer, Mark (Kari), David (Paula), Denise (Ron) Borycki; caring grandmother to: Matthew, Marc (Amy), Wesley Falk, Lauren Kummer, Brock (Stephanie), Kelly (Scott) Solomon, Tedd (Katherine) Falk, Allison (David) Haulsee, Danielle (Nick) Gravlin; step-great-grandchildren: Derick (Kelsie) Kermendy, Ryan Kermendy, great-grandmother to: Carter, Mia, Charlie, Lily, Daphne, Amelia, Jack and Joseph David; Patricia preceded in death by her sister Joyce, daughter Michelle and great-granddaughter Anna Maria.
She was a member of St. Paul of Tarsus, was actively involved as eucharistic minister, numerous committees and charitable organizations within the parish community. She was a homemaker, secretary and enjoyed reading and cross-stitching. She loved bowling and pinochle with her card club. She spent her last years living at Oakmont Sterling Senior Center organizing activities such as book club, bible study, chair exercise classes and was a very competitive Bingo player!! She enjoyed a wide variety of activities and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She also leaves many other family member and friends who will sadly miss her.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, January 13th, 2024 at St. Paul of Tarsus, 41300 Romeo Plank Road, Clinton Twp., MI.
The visitation if from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, January 12th, 2024 at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Road, Clinton Twp., MI 48035, and at 11:30 a.m. at church.
Patricia’s family will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the St. Paul of Tarsus Food Pantry.
