Norma Jeanne Kropf, age 93 passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023. Norma Jeanne was the beloved Irish matriarch of her large family. She taught at the Detroit Public Schools and Macomb Intermediate School District for over 45 years. After retirement, she spent time volunteering with Mount Clemens General and the Clinton Township Senior Center where she was a travel coordinator. Norma Jeanne enjoyed trips to Harsens Island where she would reminisce about time spent there as a child. She loved traveling, new adventures, shopping, and spending time doing various activities at the Clinton Township Senior Center. Norma Jeanne loved to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and her Irish heritage, which she was so proud of. Above all, her favorite place to be was with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her warm smile and beautiful personality will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Norma Jeanne was the beloved mother of Kathleen Kropf, Thomas (Jane), Julie (Santo) Landa, Laura (Jack) Cammarata, Gary (Kirsten), Lisa (John) Schornak. The loving grandmother of Jason (Valerie), Kevin, Allison (Jordan), Angela (Ben), Anthony, Nino, Joseph, Jenna, Jennifer (Brandon), the late Brad, and Adam. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
A memorial gathering for Norma Jeanne will be held Friday, June 2, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road in Clinton Township, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to the Clinton Township Senior Center, 40730 Romeo Plank Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48038.
