Nicola was born and raised in Italy, he graduated high school, then came to America when he was 19 years old. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and obtained a rank of Sergeant, his health problems being a result of exposure to Agent Orange. Nicola was a tailor and was known for his perfection. He proudly owned his own dry cleaning and tailor services business for 50 years closing in 2020 due to covid. Nicola enjoyed to cook, go golfing, landscaping both cutting and planting with attention to detail. He loved fashion and shopping. Nicola liked to travel home to Italy and up to Traverse City. He was a well-loved family man and the best Nonno. Nicola will be greatly missed.
Nicola is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Seanna; their children, Lisa Cascioli, Antonietta Giglio; Nicole Cascioli, Anthony Cascioli; grandchildren, Mikayla Cascioli, Santino Giglio, Atiana Giglio, Livio Giglio, Nico Cascioli; his siblings, Pompeo Cascioli, Giovanni Cascioli, Connie Corrieri; and his dear friends, Denny Wegner, George Copoili and Domniano Misuraca.
A visitation for Nicola will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 2 pm to 8 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035. An instate will occur Wednesday, November 22, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10am until the time of Funeral Mass at 10:30am at San Francesco Catholic Church, 22870 S Nunneley Rd, Clinton Township, Michigan 48035.
Nicola will be laid to rest in Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd, Holly, Michigan 48443.
